Meet Shakil

Shakil was born during the golden age of cartoons, with iconic childhood favourites like Thundercats and Knight Rider paving his way to becoming a passionate artist. His love for these series manifested in drawings on textbooks and practice copybooks - from Lion-O to KITT – as if paying homage to their influence over him growing up, and he strived to grow to become a talented 3D artist.

A Successful Journey

Having graduated from Ravensbourne College of Art and Communication in 2013, Shakil established himself as a freelance motion designer working on various projects, from films to advertisements, and a great explainer video editor. In 2017 he was lucky enough to work on an independent film showcased at the Cannes Film Festival under BFI Sci-Fi Festival.

Since his first project, Shakil has been thrilled to collaborate with amazing individuals worldwide, including BT, Tesco, Peter Anderson Studios, Pretzel Films, Phenomen Films and World Rugby Union. With each experience proving unique and educational, he is excited about what comes next.
